If you’re looking for a U.S.A.-built tough, economical grapple rake for your 25-50 horsepower tractor, this may be your best choice. The “Stinger” Compact Grapple balances strength for heavy loads with light weight for small tractors, as well as anyone on the market. Throw in a price that’s very competitive and the extra features you get and the Stinger Compact Grapple may be your best choice for a small tractor. What’s different about the Stinger?
First, look at where the hoses and cylinders are mounted. Most grapples have them on top, where brush and debris can damage cylinders or rip out hoses. It can be a maintenance nightmare! The Stinger has all of those components mounted behind the grapple. It makes for a cleaner design and a more reliable grapple with less downtime.
Second, there are two grapples on this rake, which we feel is an essential design if you ever move logs. A single grapple rake tries to tear itself apart when gripping an uneven log. If it’s bigger on one end on the other, you either don’t get a solid grasp when moving it, and the hydraulics of the tractor are actually trying to bend the grapple when applying pressure. With two grapples, gripping an uneven log is no problem.
Next, you’ll see how heavy the Stinger is built. The grapples and frame are made from 1/4″ AR200 steel, there are brace tubes throughout, and the tines are serrated for maximum grip. To cap it off, the wear areas on the tubes and cylinders are greaseable, a feature usually found only on more expensive grapples. You’ll get a long life from the Stinger!
The Stinger Grapple Rake also covers the little things. There are slots on the mount for visibility, duck feet on the frame and between the tines for picking up waste hay, and bolt-on quick attach plates so if you trade a Deere for a Kubota (or vise versa) you can convert the grapple to the new quick attach system by ordering new plates and attaching them with 8 bolts. This grapple rake was well designed with the owner in mind.
The Stinger Grapple Rake is available in 56″ or 66″ widths, with either skid steer “Universal” mounts or John Deere “Hook & Pin” and it carries a two-year warranty. Compare the features and price to anyone else’s grapple rake and you’ll choose the Stinger!

WHEN ORDERING YOU MUST SELECT THE CORRECT HYDRAULIC COUPLERS!
Consult the chart below to determine your hydraulic connections. There are two types generally used in tractor applications, Pioneer and Flat Face.
Pioneer couplers have either a ball, or a tip in the male portion that must be pushed back to attach. Flat face couplers, commonly used on skid loaders, do not have any protrusions.
Each type comes in at least 3 sizes, and in order to send the right ones with your new attachment, we’ll need to know what type and size are on your tractor. We also need to know whether you have one male and one female, two male, or two female couplers. Add This Information To The ‘Order Notes’ Section Of The Checkout Page.
Without this information we cannot guarantee that our attachment will connect to your tractor.
