If you have a vinyl fence, you may have problems keeping the corners of the gates together. On one of the common vinyl fence designs, gates are held together on one end by stainless steel corner braces, but on the other end by adhesives. When the top part of my gate came apart recently, I tried unsuccessfully to glue the piece back together. When the adhesives didn’t work, an Internet search for extra gate corners to bolt the pieces back together yielded nothing. So I removed one of my existing corners and took it to a local machine shop with a brand new CNC laser cutter. They made replacements that matched perfectly enabling me to bolt the gate back together. We agreed to make them available here to anyone else with a similar situation.
Since the gate corners are stainless steel, they’ll never rust, they exactly match the originals (see schematic) and each package includes two sets of 2 corners (one for the front and back of the gate) and ten stainless steel bolts and self locking nuts to attach them. Order two packages to add gate corners to two double gates.
These corners enable a solid and durable repair of gates that only have plates on one side. They’re attractive and durable. Installation requires drilling five holes through the gate for each pair installed. For instructions about how to install, watch the video on this page.
