Cordless Drill-Powered Chain Binders Easy to Use and Built to Last
If you haul your tractor around a lot, you may get frustrated with constantly having to chain (and unchain) it to the floor of the trailer. The binders that are available are cheaply made and time consuming to attach. The over-center models are really dangerous – they’ve actually been banned in many states. The ratchet models take forever to tighten, especially when you’re new to the process and don’t always get the right position on the chains before you crank. Have you ever gotten almost tight and run out of turnbuckle threads? I have…many times. Plus, the ratchet binders require a lot of muscle to get tight. That’s okay when you’re in your twenties, but if you’re older and have arthritis or shoulder or back problems, it can be painful, especially the next day!
Speedbinders solve all of those problems. They use a cordless drill or impact to operate a driver that powers the 25 to 1 ratio worm gear to tighten and loosen the turnbuckles. They operate very smoothly, due to a precision aligned worm gear assembly that has a grease fitting for lubrication to give years of trouble free service. This is truly a unique high quality binder.
The TorqueDrive™ system in Speedbinders will save considerable time and effort ratcheting down and releasing loads and they’ll also keep your gloves clean and dry, as you only need to hold on to the portable drill when tightening your chains. There’s no need to rotate the barrel by hand like traditional binders. They’ll get the chains as tight, or usually tighter, than a manual crank system and they’re built for a long life and trouble-free performance.
If you struggle with traditional chain binders and want to take the danger and effort out of properly attaching your tractor to the trailer for hauling, Speedbinders are the answer.
