Frostline -40 Diesel Anti Gel Treatment for Diesel Engines

Prevent gelling, condensation and frozen fuel lines in your diesel fuel system with Frostline -40

When it get really cold in the winter and your diesel engine won’t start, one of two things has generally happened.

First, you could have a little condensation in your fuel tank and once that small amount of water freezes it can plug your fuel line or filter. You engine will die wherever you are and won’t start until the small ice chunk thaws out.

Second, when it gets really, really cold, diesel fuel can gel when paraffins in the fuel separate and become a gummy substance that won’t move through the fuel system. Most fuel companies blend their diesel in the winter to prevent this occurrence, but if you last filled the diesel tank in fall, you could still be using the summer blend, which could cause a disaster when it gets cold.

To prevent your diesel engine from experiencing either situation, and to boost Cetane levels for easier winter starting, put Frostline-40 in you tank a month or so before it starts getting cold, and you’ll run through the winter, regardless of how cold it gets.

One can treats a lot of fuel

Frostline -40 was designed to prevent the problem of gelling and at a 1:333 ratio, it’s guaranteed to drop the gelling temperature of your fuel by 30 degrees Fahrenheit. In milder climates, more dilute ratios will provide adequate protection. It’s highly concentrated formula means one can will treat between 100 and 250 gallons of diesel.

Frostline -40 is ideal for tractors, trucks, emergency vehicles and fleets.

Directions/Application:

For the best results both Frostline -40 and the fuel should be at a temperature above 0°F. Temperatures below 0°F do not allow for complete mixing of the fuel and the active anti-gel agents of Frostline -40. Dependent on the ambient temperature Frostline -40 can be added at different ratios to provide the best results mix accordingly:

Mixing Ratios:

Contents of 1 Liter treats 100 gallons of diesel fuel to the maximum level of arctic protection. It can be used to treat up to 250 gallons of fuel for improved protection during mild winter temperatures.

For best results add to the diesel fuel while filling the diesel fuel tank. This allows for instant mixing of Frostline -40 and the diesel fuel.
